Wildman's Review of Adaptive Tactical EX Performance Forend And M4-Style Stock for Remington Shotguns

I was really excited about getting and installing this stock and foregrip on my tactical H&R Partner, and received it just before Christmas. Installation was a breeze for the buttstock, but the forestock was nearly 2 inches longer than the standard synthetic, and extremely bulky. I thought perhaps that it was just my personal judgement, so when my youngest son opened his and went to install it on his H&R, I was a bit discouraged as he exclaimed "What the heck? So we're going from this forestock to this overgrown thing?!" He was of course, talking about the forestock. He, like myself elected to retain the former forestock on the weapon, since it was much more compact and just has a better feel. The sad part is that the light rail was a major selling point, leaving the customer with the satisfaction of a collapsible buttstock. Further, he took his weapon to the range immediately after installing and the buttstock bolt loosened up after only a dozen or so shots. I haven't shot mine yet, so I'm not sure I'm going to experience the same issue. Just something to be aware of.
