Heavy, but nice site mount - ADE Advanced Optics Adapter/Mounting Plate for Red Dot Sight

I needed a mount for my Burris Fastfire II that would allow it to see over the tall wind adjustment turret of my nikon P-223 scope. I am using a Burris PEPR scope mount which has rails to allow a sight to sit above the Nikon Scope. But the Fastfire alone with its standard rail mount was too low and the Scope turret blocked the view.

So rather than get a simple riser, I decided to purchase this. While it is pretty heavy, it is very well built and puts the Fastfire II at the perfect height to just clear the Nikon's turret. The added protection it provides to the Fastfire is also a nice bonus along with the spot for a spare battery and the tools needed to adjust the site.

Definitely worth the money for the added protection and storage it offers.
