Anthony James McCarthy's Review of ADE Advanced Optics Delta RD3-012 1x Reflex Red Dot Sight w/1911 Novak Optic Mount Plate
I was putting together a budget-friendly range gun and didn't want to spend more on the optic than I did on the pistol. The RD3-012 fit the bill perfectly.
The dot is easy to acquire and the controls are intuitive. I especially like the top-loading battery design because I don't have to remove the optic when replacing batteries. After roughly six months of use and multiple range trips, it continues to perform reliably.
The glass is surprisingly clear and the adjustment clicks were positive enough to get a quick zero. For recreational shooting and competition practice, it's been a solid performer.
