Perfect for My First Red Dot Experience
This was my first pistol red dot, so I didn't really know what to expect. Mounting took less than ten minutes and I was on the range the same afternoon.
Learning to find the dot consistently took some practice, but once I got comfortable with it, shooting became much faster. The optic remained zeroed throughout multiple range trips and the brightness levels worked well both indoors and outdoors.
For anyone wanting to try a pistol-mounted optic without spending premium-brand money, this is a very reasonable option.

Good Optic But Battery Life Could Be Better
The optic works well and holds zero, but I feel the battery drains a little faster than I expected. It's not a deal breaker because the battery is easy to replace from the top, but I would have liked longer runtime.

Excellent Customer Support and Product
When I first received the optic, I had a question about the mounting screws and reached out to ADE support. They responded quickly and helped me get everything sorted out. That alone left a good impression.
After installation, I zeroed the sight at 15 yards. Adjustments were straightforward and tracked correctly. The dot appears sharp to my eyes and the window provides a decent field of view without making the optic overly bulky.
After several months of use, including a few rainy range trips, the optic continues to function perfectly. It's one of the better values I've found in pistol optics.

Surprisingly Good
Quick install, clear dot, and no issues so far. I bought it mainly because I didn't want to spend $300+ on an optic for a range gun. It exceeded my expectations.

Reliable After 800+ Rounds
I've had this optic mounted on my 9mm 1911 for about four months now. After roughly 800 rounds, the sight has remained solid and has not lost zero. The glass is clear, brightness settings are easy to adjust, and the controls are intuitive.
What impressed me most was how much faster my target acquisition became compared to iron sights. I'm not a competition shooter, just a weekend range guy, but my groups tightened noticeably once I got used to the dot.
I would definitely buy another one for a future pistol build.

Great Value for a Novak Cut 1911
I installed this Delta RD3-012 on my Rock Island 1911 with a Novak cut slide and it fit exactly as advertised. The red dot is crisp, easy to pick up, and held zero through several range sessions. For the price, I honestly wasn't expecting this level of performance. Battery replacement from the top is also a huge plus.

Perfect for Aging Eyes
As I've gotten older, iron sights have become harder to focus on. This optic completely changed my shooting experience.
Target acquisition is much faster and my groups immediately improved. Installation on my Novak-cut slide was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. The red dot is clear without excessive starbursting.
For anyone struggling with traditional sights, this optic is worth considering.

Thousands of Rounds Later
I've been running this sight on a Rock Island 1911 for almost a year now. Initially I wasn't sure what to expect because most of my experience has been with much more expensive optics.
After over 2,000 rounds, rain, dust, and plenty of holster use, the RD3-012 continues to function properly. The adjustments have remained consistent and the sight has maintained zero surprisingly well. The lens coating has held up better than I anticipated and the housing has resisted scratches from normal use.
One thing I appreciate is how simple everything is. No complicated menus, no unnecessary features—just a straightforward red dot that works. If you're looking for an affordable optic for range work, competition practice, or casual shooting, this is a strong option.

Good Optic but Battery Life Could Be Better
The optic mounted easily and the dot is bright. Accuracy has been excellent and it holds zero well.
My only complaint is that I seem to go through batteries faster than expected. It isn't a deal breaker, but I wish battery life was a little longer. Otherwise it's a good sight for the price point.

Great Value on a Budget Build
I was putting together a budget-friendly range gun and didn't want to spend more on the optic than I did on the pistol. The RD3-012 fit the bill perfectly.
The dot is easy to acquire and the controls are intuitive. I especially like the top-loading battery design because I don't have to remove the optic when replacing batteries. After roughly six months of use and multiple range trips, it continues to perform reliably.
The glass is surprisingly clear and the adjustment clicks were positive enough to get a quick zero. For recreational shooting and competition practice, it's been a solid performer.
