Perfect for Concealed Carry Pistols
I’ve tried several different laser/light combos over the years and most were either too bulky or too heavy for daily carry. This HG54 Plus is one of the few that actually works well on smaller pistols without making them feel oversized.
The housing is compact enough that it doesn’t snag badly during holstering and the controls are ambidextrous which I appreciate as a left-handed shooter. The laser adjustment was straightforward and once zeroed it stayed consistent during range sessions.
I also like that ADE kept the height low enough to stay close to the trigger guard profile. It makes the whole setup feel more integrated with the pistol instead of hanging awkwardly underneath it.

Battery Life Isn’t Amazing
The laser itself works great and the unit feels sturdy, but battery runtime could definitely be better if you use both the flashlight and laser together frequently.
Good compact setup overall, just keep spare batteries around.

Better Than I Expected for the Money
I honestly purchased this expecting it to be more of a budget placeholder until I upgraded later, but after using it for a couple months I’ve stopped looking for a replacement.
The biggest advantage is the size. Most flashlight and laser combos become bulky very quickly, especially on micro-compacts. This one stays surprisingly short and doesn’t throw off the balance of the pistol. The controls are also easy to activate without adjusting my grip too much.
The green laser is the standout feature. Very bright at night and still usable during daytime in shaded areas. Flashlight output is plenty for indoor defensive distances. Overall this feels like a thoughtfully designed product instead of just another generic accessory.

Solid Little Combo Unit
Easy to install and holds securely on the rail. Laser zero stayed consistent after several range trips.
For the price I’m happy with it.

Excellent Green Laser Visibility
The green laser on this thing is extremely visible compared to older red lasers I’ve owned. Indoors it’s incredibly bright and even outside during cloudy daylight conditions I can still pick it up fairly easily.
The flashlight isn’t meant to replace a giant duty light, but for home defense or concealed carry use it works perfectly fine. I mainly wanted something compact that wouldn’t ruin concealment on my carry pistol and this delivered.
The aluminum housing feels solid and much more durable than the cheaper plastic laser units floating around online.

Compact Setup That Actually Fits My Hellcat Well
Mounted this on my Hellcat Pro and it fits much better than some of the larger laser/light combos I’ve tried before. Doesn’t stick out too far past the muzzle and still gives me both a bright green laser and flashlight.
Very clean setup overall.

Ran it through multiple range sessions
Mounted this on my handgun and took it out over several range trips. The unit stayed tight on the rail and didn’t shift at all, which was something I was concerned about.
The controls are easy to access from both sides, which makes it convenient whether you’re left or right-handed. Switching between modes is simple.
After a few hundred rounds, everything is still functioning perfectly. For the price, it performs better than I expected.

First laser/light combo I’ve used
This was my first time using a laser/light combo instead of separate accessories. Installation was straightforward—it slid right onto the rail and locked in securely.
The green laser is definitely the highlight. It’s very bright and easy to see, even in brighter conditions. The flashlight is decent as well, not super high lumen but enough for indoor use.
Overall, I like the simplicity of having both in one unit. It keeps the setup compact and clean without adding extra bulk.

Battery life is okay, not amazing
Works well overall, but the battery life is about what they advertise—around an hour. Just keep spare batteries or recharge often.

Simple, functional, no complaints
Put this on my bedside setup. Easy to install, easy to use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
