Eric Sanderson's Review of ADE Advanced Optics RD3-009 1x Reflex Red Dot Sight w/Mouting Plate 1911 Colt G/Standard Rear Sight&Picatinny Rail
I've put several hundred rounds through my 1911 since installing this optic package, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations.
The mounting plate fit securely into the rear sight dovetail, and the optic has maintained zero throughout multiple practice sessions. The sight picture is clean, the controls are simple to use, and battery replacement is straightforward.
For the price, I think this is one of the best ways to experience a red dot on a traditional 1911 without permanently modifying the slide.
