Excellent Range Setup
I mainly use this pistol for range shooting, and adding a red dot has made target acquisition much faster.
The dot is crisp, adjustments are positive, and the included plate fit my pistol securely. After zeroing, I haven't noticed any movement or shifting.

Rear Sight Removal Was the Hard Part
The optic itself works well, but removing the factory rear sight on my pistol was much more difficult than I expected.
Once I borrowed a proper sight pusher, installation became much easier. Buyers should understand that the mounting plate installation requires a little patience and the right tools.

Holds Zero Better Than Expected
I've put several hundred rounds through my 1911 since installing this optic package, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations.
The mounting plate fit securely into the rear sight dovetail, and the optic has maintained zero throughout multiple practice sessions. The sight picture is clean, the controls are simple to use, and battery replacement is straightforward.
For the price, I think this is one of the best ways to experience a red dot on a traditional 1911 without permanently modifying the slide.

Good Budget Red Dot Package
For someone wanting to try a pistol-mounted optic without spending several hundred dollars, this is a great option.
The dot is clear, adjustments were straightforward, and the mounting plate feels solid. I removed one star because the brightness buttons are a little small while wearing gloves, but otherwise I'm very pleased.

Complete Kit Ready to Install
I really liked that this package included both the optic and the mounting plate.
The installation went smoothly using a proper sight pusher, and once everything was torqued down with blue thread locker, the optic stayed firmly in place. The red dot is bright, easy to acquire, and makes shooting much faster.

Great 1911 Upgrade
I've always wanted to try a red dot on my Government Model without sending the slide out for machining. This package made it easy. The mounting plate fit well, the optic was simple to zero, and it's held zero through several range sessions. Excellent value.
