Weatherproof and Tough

Took this through a rainy day range session and the waterproofing performed well — no fogging or water inside the optic. The housing feels durable and I appreciate how simple the controls are. Easy to change brightness levels with gloves on too.

Solid Rifle Optic Alternative

I paired this on a pistol slide cut and it’s also worked great on my AR for close-to-mid distances. Adjustment turrets are tactile and easy to turn, and I didn’t knock it off zero even when moving between drills. Definitely good value compared to higher-priced optics.

Bright and Clear Dot

Out on the range the 4 MOA dot is bright and visible in different lighting conditions. I run my sight at medium brightness most of the time and it works well outdoors. The sight doesn’t seem bulky even though it’s a bit larger than some mini reflexes I’ve seen.

Easy to Install, Great Price

Big Window Makes Target Acquisition Easy

I mounted this RD3-015 on my HK USP plate and the larger window really makes a difference. I can pick up the dot fast and stay on target quicker than with smaller optics I’ve used. Battery life has been solid so far and the top-load battery feature means no taking the sight off to change cells.
