Installed HM16 on several different pistols. Tolerances were consistent unit-to-unit. Did not encounter variation that required adjustment or return. That level of consistency matters for volume installs.

Plate width fully supports Doctor/Venom/Fastfire optics with no overhang. This prevents stress concentration on optic bases. Narrower plates often fail here — HM16 does not.

Confirmed no contact with striker channels or internal slide components during install. Plate sits correctly without inducing drag or affecting slide travel. Function testing passed without issue.

From an armorer’s standpoint, this is a well-designed adapter plate. Correct geometry, good hardware, and predictable results. I would have no issue recommending this to customers who want a non-milled red-dot solution.

Edges are broken properly with no sharp corners. Anodizing is even and durable. Plate does not mar the slide during install or removal, which is important for customer firearms.

Underside contact area is sufficient to distribute recoil forces rather than relying on screws alone. Plate does not shift during rapid fire or repeated slide manipulation. No witness marks observed after testing.

Initial bore alignment is very close. Most optics required minimal windage adjustment during zero. Indicates the plate is machined square to the slide interface, which reduces install time and customer complaints.

Screws provided have proper thread length and head geometry. No bottoming out and no stripped heads during install. Countersinks are clean, allowing even torque distribution across the plate.

Thickness is appropriate to maintain proper optic height while preserving adjustment range. Solves elevation limit issues commonly seen on shallow slide cuts. Customers were able to zero without maxing elevation or windage.
