This tool will be used to change forehand grip stocks without destroying the metal tube nut. Simple to use, great to have in your box. Would recommend this item to other owners of similar shotguns(870 and alike).
Pros: Works great-no metal burring or scratches from this tool
Cons: None

This wrench has one specific purpose for one shotgun manufacturer...But without this wrench, I wouldn't have been able to replace the fore end on my Remington 870. The wrench is high quality, came on time, and was, I think a fair price. The fact that I could find such a specific gunsmith tool was a pleasant surprise.

This tool makes it a lot easier to remove the forend grip nut off the slide & helps prevent stripping or damaging the nut. It's easier than trying to remove it with needle nose pliers, which with some effort is possible.
Pros:
Grip texture
Quality, ruggedness
materials, construction
Easy use
Cons:
none!

Item is great, however I had to file the finger width down a bit in order to get it to fit into the nut on the forearm. Not a big deal. Now it works great. I have used it a bunch of times since.
Pros: Easy to use, priced right
Cons: Fingers are a little large
