I really wanted this stock to work and had plans for a nice Mosin project. Couldn’t get the barrel to free float. As I would lightly dremel material away it seemed to me like the stock started to twist. I’ve used these types of stocks on other firearms and have had decent luck. This one just didn’t work for me

made my old 50 year old rifle look like new sport model , am going to order another for my other one for my other old world war 2 rifle. will enjoy using this product and will order more products in the future i am sure . great service and fast fast delivery .

I would recommend this stock and others by ATI
Pros: Very Solid stock, good design

This stock will greatly increase the economics of your mosin, if you don't consider yourself a purist and don't mind ditching the old dinged up wood, then this stock is a no-brainier.

It is exactly what it states - As you know there are many variations - mine is a 1944 Russian model. The stock was well packaged, and came with fairly good instructions on how to fit the reviver and barrel into the stock (even the Finish model that takes a bit more modding. Either because the weapon has some irregularities, or is in some fashion defective, I had to do some extra modding/shaping about mid stock(about where the reviver and barrel are attached) to get a good flush fit as the barrel was riding high and to the left after initially dropping it in - wasn't hard to do - all in all a great product, and if you are not a purist, an affordable way to modernize this weapon. I will say that the price at optics beat my local sporting goods store by about $12, with shipping, and with the discount I used saved me around $25..and arrived 3 days after ordering by normal shipping. I love it!

PS. I typically shoot 150-200 rounds a session - with the wooden stock.. I would feel like my shoulder was getting hit with a sedge hammer the next day.. with the composite stock, and its rubberized but plate guard, next day feels like I shot 20 rounds with the '22..though i had to "re-learn" how to shoot with this weapon - it becomes a new weapon as far as feel.. good stuff

It took longer to take the wooden stock off than to put this stock on. Once done you end up with a very classic looking sporting rifle. Seriously it is as easy as dropping the receiver and barrel assembly in and installing 2 screws. I thought it was going to take some more work but it snapped into place and was ready to accept the screws. The stock is manufactured very good (I could not find any flaws) and it is a perfect fit. It comes with a good set of instructions and also includes a rubberized cheek pad that you can install after the stock is installed.

the product is great! no problems installing it and satisfied. my complain is the customer service. i missed my apt number in the shipping and OP charged me $11 dollars to add a "5" to the address when the product was already headed to the same place. I am an avid internet shopper and for OP to not take care of something like this makes me want to look elsewhere for future products..

The ATI stock was what I had expected if you read the reviews and dont mind sanding a little this stock will work perfectly for you.

Comes in a nice cardboard display with detailed instructions. Literally a drop in fit with absolutely no modification necessary. Hhad it installed in 5-10 mins with only a basic screwdriver set. Was nice to have sling studs and a rubber recoil pad already on it. Well worth the money.
