Don't be fooled... this thing looks amazing on my Mossberg 500, but save yourself the trouble. This heat shield has been correctly installed on my Mossberg three times. After install the first time, heat shield slipped forward about 2 - 3 inches after 4 - 5 shots. When it did, all of the adhesive for the silicone pads worked themselves free and would not stick properly by themselves anymore. I stalled it again, relying on the tightness of the screws to hold the silicone pads in place (as well as the heat shield... but AGAIN, the heat shield slipped forward after 4 - 5 shots. I installed it again but tried super-gluing the silicone pads in place on the heat shield and tightened the screws down the absolute tightest it could go (even bent the allen wrench)... but AGAIN it slipped after 4 -5 shots. This heat shield looks awesome and I really do wish it worked, but it has ruined 3 days of shooting... I'd rather have a gun that works. Hope you read this and it helps you avoid this product altogether.

Cons: Slips after 4 - 5 shots, after 8 shots it slips so far that it interferes with pump action
