The grips really improve the feel and hold-ability of my Taurus Judge, especially for single action shooting. Although it could be installed (read that forced) over the lazar lite attachment plate on the right side of the pistol's frame, I decided to alter the grip by cutting down the right side in order to clear the attachment plate. Careful try & fit measurement is a must to make the alteration look nice.

I really like this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a "Judge". I have the 2.5 inch chamber 6.5 inch barrel model and even though the original grip was ok I felt that I needed a little more control over the recoil and weighty nose drop of the weapon. I read all the reviews before I purchased and was a little apprehensive but decided to order anyway and am very glad I did. It's true that it takes a little work to get the screw hole to line up but but overall it went on pretty easily. I will say that the last step in installation was not covered too well in the instructions. You have to insert the red trim pieces in the grip yourself and the instructions didn't mention that they are not all the same size but if you look hard you will see that each one is identified with two letter identifiers, ie rt for right top, lb for left bottom etc. Once I saw that it went very quickly.

Fits perfectly, and gives the judge a bigger gun appearance. This is an amazing product. It is by far the most comfortable grip on the market. My shots have improved each time I use it. This fir my model Taurus 17 as described. The screw holes aligned perfectly not sure want was the issue of the other user.
