Great conversion kit - Advantage Arms 1911T Conversion Caliber

Not too long ago I purchased a Tisas 1911. Unfortunately ammo for the 1911 is often difficult to find and expensive. I heard about this conversion kit. My first concern was to find out if it would fit my Tisas. According to the info that came with my Tisas, it was a Series 70. Advantage Arms (the people there were very nice) could not confirm that it would fit, but said that with my Tisas being a Series 70, it "should". I called Optics Planet to confirm that if it didn't fit, I could return it. They were great and confirmed that I could return if I needed to. I bought it and it arrived ahead of schedule.

The unit is very nicely made. I took the slide off of my 1911, and the Conversion kit slid into place perfectly and worked very well. I expect to use it a lot. The only drawbacks are that it cannot be dry fired and the number of recommended ammos is limited. Outside of that, very pleased and it is highly recommended.
