Amazingly accurate - Advantage Arms 1911T Conversion Caliber

This 1911 Target .22 LR Conversion Kit exceeded my expectations! The slide came with the Picatinny Rail Sight Shroud that allowed for a 2 MOA red dot to be installed. It was tested with five (5) brands of 22 Long Rifle using the high velocity spring that comes with the kit. The Winchester M22 provided the best reliability and group of 0.844" at 50-feet with a mean radius of 0.306". Although, not high velocity, the 42gr. Eley Semi-Auto Benchrest Auto functioned flawlessly with the high velocity spring and shot the lowest high velocity mean radius of 0.255" at 50-feet. After installing the standard velocity spring, available from Advantage Arms, three (3) standard velocity 22s were tested.
CCI Standard Velocity Target provided the smallest group of 0.689" at 50-feet with a mean radius of 0.265"; this is equivalent to a 1.03" group at 25-yards. Only Lapua Pistol King shot a lower mean radius of 0.249", but the group was larger at 0.811" (with one flyer). I am very pleased with the Advantage Arms 1911T Conversion and highly recommend it as a low cost, but accurate, way to practice with a 1911 pistol.
