Initial Review... "Meh". - May change after extensive use.
Short and sweet.
- This is not a holographic sight. I took a chance on it based on a new "Holoreflective" technology that sounded cool. It is a LED reticle. While the method of being delivered to the shooter's eye may be be a new technology, it's comparable to just about every other optice that uses a 2 MOA dot in circle. There is nothing special going on here.
- The reticle, while crisp, fades and becomes distorted when it is not dead center of the window. Reticle is daylight bright.
- Glass is tinted. What you see in the pics on the Optics Planet site are true to life.
- 400 hours of battery life?! For the price, there is no excuse to omit auto shutoff features that are industry standard at this point.
- Build quality does seem to be robust. It seems too bulky and heavy for what it delivers.
- Borelight zero was easy enough. Windage and elevation knobs are resposive with audible clicks. Parralax seems, "ok" for an optic in the $250 price range.
What I would recomment instead (I own all of these)?
- Holosun 510C
- Primary Arms SLX 1X Prism
- Sig Sauer Romeo 7 ($199 as of this review!)
- Holosun AEMS CORE (I have the original, but the difference is negligible.)

Expert Review
Fantastic Red Dot!!
I'll admit when I saw a Holosun/EOTECH look alike, I was skeptical, especially when I saw how much cheaper it was. However, I could not have been more wrong! For the price, this thing can't be beat. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Holosun's, however, if someone was on a budget, this would be a great alternative option! No issues in daylight, great reticle, easy buttoms, etc. I combined it with their magnifier and it's a sweet set up! Highly recommended!
