Box's Review of Aero Precision AR15 ATLAS S-ONE M-LOK Handguard
I purchased two of these, one from Aero directly, and one from OP. It's very light, and the installation is very easy. It comes with everything you need, spacers to make sure your gas tube aligns with the barrel nut grooves, torque wrench tool, etc. One tip to make installation even easier is to put a drop of oil or grease on the ball ratchet mechanism so it clicks and spins very easily, the geared wheel will try to pop to either side of the ball until it's tightened down a bit and the oil makes this part far easier. You can go carbon fiber if your goal is weight savings, but keep in mind that many of those weigh almost as much as this one does, it's not worth paying twice as much. Even the polymer retro guards weigh more than this thing. My 12.5" SBR build came out to 4lbs even, and that's with the optic, sling, and 20rd mag in it. The sling QD points are very snug and secure with BCM swivels, you won't have them popping out on you at all. If you're building a 12.5" middy, the gas block is indeed covered completely by the 10.2" model, and you'll have very easy access to your adjustment screw if using a adjustable block. If carbine gas system, the allen wrench provided with your block should still reach the screw as well, 10.2" works well for both.
