HSB's Review of Aero Precision AR15 Assembled Upper Receiver, No Forward Assist
This is my go-to for upper builds. It's forged 7075 aluminum and as originally intended, it does not have a forward assist. The FA gets in the way of me charging the rifle as a left handed shooter, and as far as I am concerned, it's more likely to make a problem worse than actually fix one.
