aero gas block
This is a well made gas block at a reasonable price. Fit and finish were great. Aero precision makes a good product. This will probably be my go to gas block from now on. I definitely recommend it to anyone not trying to break the bank on over priced products that do the same thing.

Non functioning
Pocket for the gas tube not drilled deep enough. I’ve used lots of these in the past. Too light to use as a paperweight, into the trash it goes. Very dissatisfied with aero at the moment. They’re turning out a lot of sub par products.
It works very well!
Fit amd finish is great. It was snug enough to the gas port journal. This is an easy install. Both set screws torqued to 35 inch pounds without an issue. No leaks apparent upon firing 20 rounds through the firearm.

Its a nice gas block
The fit and finish on this gas block is perfect. It is non-adjustable. It fits snugly on the barrel gas block journal. The gas tube installed just fine. The screws torqued to 35 inch pounds prefectly. And it does not leak.

doesnt fit RRA varmint barrela
I’ve used Aero parts on multiple AR builds, and I’ve never had any trouble with them, until this one. It’s made well, like all Aero stuff I’ve seen, but it absolutely would not fit over the Rock River Arms varmint barrel. Had to get an RRA gas block to do so.

Low profile gas block
The Aero Precision AR15 Low Profile Gas Block is exactly what it says. Low profile for easy fitment under the handguard to my rifle. I love the fitment and the finish, definitely will be my go to gas block for now on.

Roll pin not included
All gas blocks should come with roll pins. It is a very cheap part that is crucial for assembly. Luckily it does include two set screws. The gas block seems OK for what it is but not complete without the roll pin
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- No roll pin

Aero Precision AR15 Low Profile Gas Block
I needed to get rid of front sight because I installed a scope for hunting. The new gas blocked worked out perfect and was easier to install than i thought (never done one before) the gas block is out of the way now but i should have gotten one with picatinny rail that would cover the hole left by the old site in the rail
Pros:
- well made
Cons:
- hole left in handguard

Can’t beat it for the price
It’s a gas block that works. It’s inexpensive and I’ve had zero issues with it. The two screws hold tight with some loctite and don’t budge. Make sure your barrel is dimpled. Other Gad blocks that are comprable go for double the cost and aero doesn’t play those games. Great product at a great price.

Aero Precision AR15 Low Profile Gas Block
These gas blocks should work well. I like the nitride finish, and they should last a very long time, if not forever for most. I'm not sure they would ever go bad unless under maybe extreme use and heat, then a rapid cool or something. but things happen no matter the brand. My only complaint is the weird set screw spacing they use. Its only a minor ding, as some of us like to dimple, and use a dimple jig. Their odd spacing is not a option on the tools I've seen on market, like KAK and SLR dimple tools which do .400" .425" .450" .470" and .500" spacings. The AERO is .485 I think it was. You can still dimple, but would only be one set screw directly under the gas block, which still would be ok, but not as great as 2 dimples for the extra ease of mind. You could could have a special dimple tool made probably, then that would take care of that. So before you throw and gas blocks in the cart, you might want to inquire the set screw spacing, if you dimple your barrels.
Pros:
- Good nitride finish, looks as good as any high end product.
Cons:
- goofy set screw spacing
Best Used for:
- builds

Great cheap gas block
great gas block with classic aero precision quality. solid, deep nitride finish, and installs very securely on properly dimpled barrels. i've used these on multiple rifles/pistols and they have all been very dependable over thousands of rounds.

Perfect fit
Previous gas block (ar stoner) was .002 undersized, this was a perfect fit. Reviews must be 200 characters, but what else is there to say about a gas block????????
