This upper was on sale when I purchased. I could not build a quality 12 inch barreled upper at the price ($380) So I bought this. My first Aero upper. What drew me in was the light weight, slim profile handguard. Unfortunately the gas block sits so close to the rail that you can not mount Mlok attachments in close proximity to it. Mounting before or after where the gas block sits are your options. A very modern and practical product from Aero Precision
