Most Helpful Positive Review Warning - It comes in a box marked for 308 but don't let that throw you off -
It's the same tube and spring as the AR10/M5/308 AR, but it has the huge 7.7oz buffer. I bought all 3 (AR15, AR10, 9mm EPC) at the same time and it messed with me. The only reason they lose a star is because the box is labeled wrong.
Most Helpful Negative Review Don't buy this for your EPC9
The Aero Precision EPC9 is a great gun but do not buy this buffer system for it. There's a good chance you will have an OOB with it. Reason: 308 springs should not be used with a AR9 and you should not use a solid buffer. The buffer included in this is just solid weight which increases bolt bounce. ...

Required Buffer for EPC build

Bought this because the 9mm blowback system is harsh and requires a heavier buffer spring, Aero suggests their 7.7oz buffer kit, exactly what I needed, my 9mm EPC functions and cycles flawlessly.

Aero epc carbine buffer kit

I built a epc9 with aero lower/upper and barrel so. I figured keep it all aero. Install went smooth and it was in perfect shape. I have not had a problem with anything aero with a few builds so far. Optics planet shipped next day as usual so i’ll be back

Love Aero Precision products. Used this for a EPC due to 7.7 oz buffer that is recommended for this product. I’m not sure if a different weight buffer will make a difference. Thanks! Apparently I need to make this longer so I can submit it. Optic planet if you me to review a product don’t force me to make it longer!!!!!
