Handguard and upper receiver are 2 different colors, qd mounts aren't machined right so they won't work with qd swing swivels, and these are blems, mine had a few minor blems on the upper receiver and a notch on the side, dust cover had scratches like it was pulled off a used gun and tossed on this build.

Works as it should, i have no complaints about it and no issues

Just did a test run of my latest build: an Aero Precision M5 based .308. Set the rifle up with a 20" barrel, rifle length gas system, rifle length buffer, Atlas hand guard, BCM Enhanced FCG, Magpul fixed stock, Leopold mount and SIG Saur 3x12x44 scope. Ran a variety of factory 7.62x51 and .308 ammo without adjusting the gas block without a single malfunction. While this is not a light rifle it is only marginally more cumbersome than my Remington 700 in .30-06. The rifle carries just fine through the woods with a 2 point sling. The rifle feels solid and the fit and finish are much better than a working rifle needs to be. The scope is clear, sighting in was a breeze and it was really easy to rapidly acquire targets at 3x. This is the softest shooting.308 I have ever fired. Follow up shots was quick and accurate. If you are looking for uber light this is not your rifle. But, if you are looking for a rifle that does its job and then some, give the M5 platform a look.

The only issue I have with this product is I can’t find any ammo caliber information marked on this complete upper. Isn’t that a big safety concern? Every gun I have from $100 to $2000 has that info marked somewhere.

amazin product for an amazing price is what you get with this. Perfect AR10 is what has been built with this. love aero precision and love optics planet. the price was less than what aero had on their website. siighted in at 100 yds and punching steel with no issues.
