Sturdy and American Made
I've built several ar variants using Aero Precision parts with great success. This M5 bolt catch is no different. It is well made and handles the added stress of a 308 AR. It matches well to the dpms pattern AR10 lower reciever.
Works Flawlessly with Aero M5
I tried using a generic bolt catch with my Aero M5 build, and it didn't work....at all.

Bolt catch with proper fit
I had an AERO lower and tried to use a PSA upper on it. It was not compatible. I had to order an AERO upper and switched the barrel over. The PSA bolt catch would not work, it was stopping the BCG from moving rearward.

Poor finish, bad quality control
Arrived with a third of the finish missing. Allows the bolt to fall on my Aero M5 without input! My rifle chambered a live round while sitting across the range. This is unacceptable and dangerous. Bad quality control! I recommend looking elsewhere. I expected better from Aero precision.

Great bolt catch
Had a company send me a bolt stop for a ar15 for my ar10 so clearly it didn’t work, bought this bad boy and it took no time to install and now my gun has a bolt catch I am thrilled with the product………
