Most Helpful Positive Review Great Trigger
Just purchased this for my new Aero Precision M5 build, got to admit i was a little worried about it being as good as I was expecting it to be. It Did not disappoint in the least solid wall, no creep, and great reset it also claims to be 3 1/2 pound trigger and mine is breaking at 3 to 3 1/4 reliably every time. got to say Im verry happy with it.

Good trigger.

Upgraded from a mil spec trigger. Snug fit on LR308. Little uptake - less than mil spec trigger. Pull weight feels good. Nice crisp break. Also the hammer spring is lighter compared to mil spec. Overall a good upgrade. I like the drop in ease of install.

Cons:
  • Anti walk pins need screws
Best Used for:
  • Budget upgrade from mil spec

Rise Armament AP-140 trigger doesn't reset properly

I fired my Aero AR10 a couple weeks ago. The weapon would fire one round and chamber another but would not fire on the second round. I did a function check and it sounded fine. Tried it again and same thing. So I took the lower off to inspect what was happening. After the first shot the bolt pushes the hammer back. When you release the trigger the hammer resets almost all the back to the firing pin.

  • Does not work.

Excellent trigger

The AP-140 trigger is crisp, but not too light towards surprises.
It's thus far, the most controllable trigger I've used.
Pros:
  • Very controllable at high rate of fire
  • Very contollable
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • AR-15
