I put this on a 6.5 Creedmoor and boy does it work!! We all know the 6.5 C is a light recoiling round any way, but this makes it feel less than a .30 carbine imo. Perfect for my situation. I wanted to get my wife and daughter into shooting something besides a .22, but didn’t them getting recoil shy , I think this’ll do the trick.

Easy installation

Very easy to install. You don’t need any special tools for the installation. It is a five minutes job only.
Didn’t have time to try it out in the shooting range yet, but it looks very practical and tactical.

Worth every penny

I bought to replace a out of spec VG6 Precision Epsilon on my 6.5 Grendel. Reduces recoil, muzzle rise and muzzle flash greatly. Epsilon was decent (besides the fact it was out of spec) but muzzle flash was terrible. The Lambda is a great product and love the jam nut design. I am very happy with this muzzle device.
Pros:
  • reduces muzzle rise
  • Good design and works well.
  • Reduces felt recoil
  • Reduces flash
Cons:
  • None

great product

by jj, from SD, United States Written on April 22, 2021
I installed this on a 6.5 20" grendel barrel. Install was pretty straight forward. I tried to install it incorrectly a few times to see if it would still install...difficult to accomplish which is good. You don't need a gunsmith to install this, just a little patience. After shooting about 25 rounds it was still tight. The recoil reduction is much better than expected. The Grendel now has less recoil than a 5.56 16" mid length w/ standard A2 flash-hider. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a smoother transition from shot to shot. It's money well spent if you enjoy shooting.

Works as advertised

by kemihi, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on December 1, 2020
I installed this muzzle brake on my 6.5mm Creedmoor. The installation requires no tools, takes seconds, and is very secure. The brake significantly reduced recoil. A bit expensive, but worth the cost.
Pros:
  • Easy to install, secure, and functional
Cons:
  • A bit pricey

Great, Fast Service, and So Easy to Add-On

by Tony, from TX, United States Written on September 8, 2020
I ordered this on August 31st and received it on September 9th, even with the Labor Day weekend it was in my mailbox before noon. Optics Planet got this sent out immediately. Thanks.
It looks great! And it was so simple to install this to my Remington 700 6.5 Creedmoor rifle. I wasn't sure if this was styled more for an AR, but I'd say it looks just fine. I hope to take it out to the range soon, but right now the issue is more about the scarcity of ammo, than access to range time. But I am looking forward to seeing if I notice any measurable differences between shooting with this muzzle brake as opposed to going without a brake.
