After a year of use, I feel that it's possible to now give the TM10-256 a review. The range is as advertised, about 100 yards +-. The moisture in the air has a lot to do with the distance. I pig hunt along a bayou, so I'm good with 100 yards depicting pig from deer. Aides with deer recovery in dense vegetation.
Pros:
- sleep mode helps prolong battery life
- Sleep mode is great.
Cons:
- Storage pouch is too small, difficult to put monocular into pouch.
Best Used for:
- Easier to scan the hunting area
- Easier to scan the hunting area with the monocular rather than using the rifle with thermal imaging.
