See the unseeable
If you have ever been on the fence about thermal, it’s so awesome. Pull the kids out of collage and use the money for this, it will bring you more joy when you look through it vs that but hole kid.
I purschased this scope elsewhere but thought I’d leave a review here since I’m so far happy (almo...

Brand new/ never worked
Brand new TS50-386 from optic planet. Boar sighted it In . Seem to be working fine. Then the cros hairs started jumping. Then the bottom 1/2 of the screen was nothing but colored lines. And no controls would work. Removed the battery made sure it had a full charge now nothing will work.
Not Worth It
This was my first thermal. I thought buying a thermal over $2,500 would be a good mid-range, boy was I wrong. I would say the maximum usable range of this is about 30 yards. Anything past that and it just blurs together and is unrecognizable. I tried to find my 25 lb turkey at 62 yds (used the rangefinder) and he was unrecognizable and just blended in with the surroundings. I wish I would have taken pictures to confirm this. I went through different heat colors, white hot, black hot, fusion, jungle mode, zoom etc. No change in any settings made this better. Every 15 seconds or so it would make a 'click' and refresh the screen, I don't know if it was defective or supposed to do that.
There should be a fisher price sticker on the side of it; I'd pay $100 and give it to my children as a toy. Not even kidding.

GoodThermal
Easy to operate, good quality, easy to zero but wish it was lower power zoom (2.5 or 3) and had a wider field of view. Other than that it is awesome. A bigger field of view would allow easier scanning g for coyotes, then I could dial up the zoom when needed. If you are a dedicated predator hunter, I would recommend looking at another product or having enough extra money for a thermal binos to scan. If you have a scanner already, this thermal scope will work great for you.
Pros:
- Easy and good quality
Cons:
- Small field of view
Would recommend: No
