Great thermal and at the current ptice of 600 and coming with the ear bud hearing protection is a steal of a deal. Just know it's the older version, not the V2

Great Affordale Entry to Thermals

by Gun Hunter D, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on October 3, 2025
First, I want to be clear that my recommendation is based on the price I paid for the product. I bought it on sale and paid less than $650 while also getting a free pair of Optics Planet bluetooth Isotunes. I did not buy the product to get a free pair of earbuds.

It has a lot of features. Most I still don't know and probably won't use. The different color options for hot are nice and do make a difference at times. The variable zoom options are nice, but clarity obviously gets worse the greater the zoom. So far, I've only used it as a monocular, but I plan to put it on a hog/coyote gun in the future.

The case it comes in is nice. I honestly didn't pay attention when I purchased it and thought it was going to be version 2 with a rechargeable battery pack instead of batteries. It also only ships with dingle time use 3.0V batteries, which is a little disappointing. You can use either 3.0V or 3.7V batteries. Just make sure to select the correct one in the setup options. I plan to get a set or 2 of rechargeable batteries that are compatible with the scope.
