First Thermal

I needed a thermal to quickly scan fields instead of burning through my night vision scope. I didn’t need something fancy and expensive, just something to quickly identify a warm body(animals). This thing works pretty great so far! It can easily pick out rabbits at a hundred yards and a water tower from 5+miles away, I’ll find it quite useful.

AGM Monocular Thermal Taipan TM15-256

Did a lot of research and found best budget thermal monocular on the market at the best price. It has most of the features of the AGM Thermal Rattler V2 TS25-256. Easy to use, instructions and YouTube videos are available to help a lot. Features work like the Rattler v2 in most ways so you are using familiar equipment whether scanning for your prey or ready to take the shot. The Monocular is light weight. Good long lasting battery (8 hrs). Wi-fi capable to sync with your phone and see what the monocular is showing. Fast shipping was important.

I have no regrets on this purchase. Id buy it again!

Its a good thermal for up close.

It wasn't what I was looking for needed something with better resolution. I returned it. If need it for up close within 75-100 yards it be fine..

Predator hunting

I’ve bought the TM10 and wanted to buy the TM15 to see any differences between them and found none ! same optical and wished I had bought the 384 version 256 is okay for close range
Pros:

  • 100 yrds too big

Works for what I needed
