Thermal is fairly simple to set up.. I took it with me coon hunting for the 1st time tonight. Dog got treed and I drove to within 80 yards. Tree was about 30 ft In the woods. I looked through the thermal from the truck and was easy to see 3 coon in the tree. I watched a few you tube videos so knew what the coon would look like on black hot. I would recommend it

AGM Thermal Taipan

This thermal was exactly what I was looking for. Great for spotting critters several hundred yards out in total darkness. The menu is easy to learn and works perfectly for what I was wanting. Great for finding downed game.

AGM Taipan TM19-384

Product was as advertised. Bought for coyote hunting here in Missouri, have yet to use it for that but have watched some deer walk around the back yard a little bit (100ish yards). And watched a couple coyotes at about 225 yards at the farm. Adjustable focus is nice and easy to use. So far product seems fairly clear, coming from a 25-256 rattler it is a noticeable difference in clarity. Mounted this product to a bump helmet using a samfg.us “Nightwatch 3” (a lot to desire with that, dovetail is very sloppy and allows the Taipan to move quite a bit but I guess you can’t expect much from a 3d printed part, currently looking for something better). Overall I’m really happy with the Taipan and beyond excited to get on some dogs soon
