Most Helpful Positive Review Works well with my Rattler
Easily picks up deer out to 600 yards. On the first night I had it I picked up a coyote between 2 deer at about 400 yards which I then switched to my AGM rattler v2 35-384 to confirm it was a coyote and got a shot at it. At the cost point it’s a great companion to the rattler. It’s not as clear as the rattler but the Functions are very similar and make it easy to go back and forth. Just easier to keep handy and check the dark when you need it. Couple of cons: 1. the eyepiece isn’t the most comfortable as it digs into the side of your eye. 2. Best for this price point

This optic is amazing. I use a digital night scope with an IR illuminator on the gun. While that setup is great for ranging, identification, and engaging; it is not the best for detection…especially behind brush. With the Taipan V2, I am able to scan a field and see targets moving into view and then quickly get on the gun and engage.

I really find the battery life to be better than advertised. The hot spot tracker is pretty neat. The clarity at 200 yards is amazing. Easy to focus, operate, and put away. I really recommend this optic to anyone who needs a scanning tool that has a digital night vision scope.
