Reviews & Ratings for AGM Global Vision Wolf-7 Night Vision Goggles
— 5 reviews — Page 1
I've used my buddies expensive unit. And than I purchased this one because I couldn't afford 3k and up. These things are amazing for the price. If you were on the fence, humpty dumpty your butt on down to the purchase this item side. Trust me.
Alright product and worked just fine but dual tubes or Moncular is better. Nothing wrong, just not ideal. I would recommend a single tube PSV14 vs doing something like this. Also, just saving up for a Gen 2

Arrived in perfect shape, easy to use and easy to read instructions. Nice carrying bag with buckle. The tube itself is very high quality, no blemishes as far as I can tell. Very clear and crisp image, and adjusts focus easily. Only lost one start due it it not coming with a helmet mount, you have to buy that separate and its a proprietary connection, so the only option is their $350 one sold here and on the agm website.
Pros:
very clear image
Lightweight & affordable
good all round
Cons:
None
Would recommend: Yes

I admit I know very little about Night Vision goggles beyond the ones I use in Arma 2 and 3, so this is my first real life set. At first I was hesitant to buy after seeing AGM's advertisement for their NVG products. Based on their videos they seem to suggest they can only be used during the daytime. This is false. I tried them during night time and they worked amazingly well.
Also, I was worried that the 850 nm IR illuminator would be bright enough to give my position since at that frequency it is visible to the human eye, but that wasn't the case either. Although the IR light gives you the ability to see in total darkness, it's very tiny so I'm not worried at all.
The FOV is not too bad. With proper adjustment, I see no problem using these to drive a motor vehicle in total darkness.
Also, I know they're the cheapest real NVG's I could find, just holding them in your hand you can tell they're well built.
Finally, I just became aware of the ratings they get for blemishes... I think. These are NL3 (noise level 3?). The imperfections I did see in the display didn't bother me at all, and I'm one of those who used to throw away a large screen TV if a single pixel in it died.
Pros:
price and quality
Cons:
None - too early to tell.
Best Used for:
Looking at stars, Camping where there are mountain lions, etc.
Would recommend: Yes

These are much better than I expected.
If you have ever used digital NVG, these are about 20 thousand times better than any of those, I have used, and much better than the starlight scopes we used in Vietnam.
I cannot attest to ruggedness, or waterproof rating, but they have been amazing so far.
I should be all set to look at night wildlife..
Thanks Guys!
Pros:
Affordable
Cons:
None that I have seen so far
None that I have see so far
Best Used for:
Watching little wildlife creatures at night
Would recommend: Yes
