David's Review of Aguila Ammunition .22LR 40 Grain Plated Lead Round Nose Brass Case Ammunition

Feeds better in my 10/22 and AR than CCI standard lead. These are certainly supersonic from a 16 inch barrel. To be completely honest I can’t recall any recent .22LR from Aguila or CCI not going bang, so good reliability on these.
Pros:
  • Feeds well, no duds, cheap
Cons:
  • Smoke smells odd
Best Used for:
  • plinking, small game
