A decent muzzle brake, even if you're not going featureless - AIM Sports Inc .30 Cal A2 Style Muzzle Brake

I've tried both the standard A2 and this "featureless" version from Aim Sports on my PTR-91(7.62x51, or .308) and PTR-32 (7.62x39). This provides a decent amount of recoil reduction and, unless you're going with the PWS FSC30 or the Type 89 JCOMP, is the best choice for an inexpensive and effective compensator. The tight opening on the front and lack of slots on the bottom direct the blast in an upward direction, giving the traditionally useless A2 a solid bit of downward thrust, minimizing climb and traverse (as long as you use the crush washer to get it perfectly level). I'm very pleased with this compensator, and especially for the ridiculously low price point. BTW: Expect the noise and flash to increase. If you're using an optic, a Killflash would be handy.
