Nice rail for cheap
I was skeptical due to the price, but I bought one anyways. Couldn’t wait till it got here. It’s well built and competitively priced as most handguardw run around 200.00 and up. I’m here to buy another one.

The description says “gun manufacturer: Armalite”, this is totally wrong, and you should fix the listing… apparently Armalite use a different thread count than DPMS for the barrel nut which I’m assuming this is designed for. Optics buyer
I have ordered 2 times, got exactly what i asked for. The order arrived well protected in good packaging and in a timely fashion. My only complaint is i work out of town and the tracki g system op uses would not allow me to use it at all. A call to op and i knew when my stuff was coming.

didn't line up at all
The top rail Didn't even come close to lining up with the receiver, its much shorter. Looks like its made for a AR-15 but came with AR10 barrel nut.

Quality, serviceable
Put this on a 16" .308 barrel. Does everything I need it to. Used keymod attachments to add a vertical forend grip and attachments for the sling. Was thinking about adding a light but being a .308 it's heavy enough.

Ar-10 .308 Keymod Handguard
Love the style and shape. Very well made. Only issue I have is the mounting nuts are very slim and not strong at all. I replaced with locking nuts from local hardware store. Mounts up and aligns perfect.

good but needs tweaking
This is a nice overall handguard, matches the height of my LFA upper which is high , my issue with this thing is the barrel nut that comes with it, which has 2 grooves that match the locking bolts of the rail, said grooves do not align with the rail holes rendering the whole rail unusable..unless you grind them down thus making the very existence of the grooves pointless..so basically idk what specific brand of upper this rail is supposed to be made for, i guess i couldve lapped the upper receiver but why would you want to get in the hassle of even doing that?
price is very reasonable, finish if very nice...install and fit is basically a thing to be considered, id buy it again just cause of the price point, but be prepared to having to work on it.

Will not match up with aero m5 upper
If you have a m5 upper go find another handguard. At least it was decently made with a okay finish. The gas tube lock thing doesn't fit tho. Now i need to find another upper to put this on :/ so if you know who makes a good low profile lr308 upper let me know

308 aimsport handguard
I have used some higher priced hand guards that don’t serve the purpose no better in some cases not as well as this handguard.This build was for deer hunting with a 308 win and it turned out above average for accuracy and functionality ,thanks for your service and product look forward to future business with your company!

Total garbage and the description lies
Ordered this for a lightweight .308 pistol build because the description says 10.3 oz for the 13.5 inch handguard. Received item, outside of box clearly states 13.28 oz. I guess no one at Optics Planet can read a box and place that information in the description. Went to install handgaurd and take it as a learning experience, no screws in box to install handguard. Do yourself a favor, buy anything from someone else.

Price was right but pieces were missing
The price was good and the handguard looks great but can't install because did not receive bolts to tighten it to the barrel nut. Besides that great Buy haven't called customer service yet to find out if they can help me but I will update as soon as I do

Excellent Handguard
This handguard was easy to install and fit well.
Sturdy lock up and matched well with the LR308 I was building.
The Keymod slots are cut well and there are no sharp edges.
For the price, this handguard is a winner.
