The fit on my M&P10 was really tight. After tightening the barrel nut and installing the gas tube anti-rotation part, I used a rag and mallet to fit it all the way against the upper. It fit perfect. I was able to take a scope mount that spanned between the rail and upper to center it. It has performed great.
