I’ve been running this mag well flare for a few weeks now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in how fast and confidently I can reload. The flared opening gives a much wider funnel for the magazine to slide into, which cuts down on fumbling, especially when you’re moving fast or reloading under stress. Fit and finish are solid — no rough edges, and it seated onto the lower without any modification needed.

What stood out most is how much it speeds up training reps. Even slightly missed insertion angles that used to cause a hang-up now just glide right in thanks to the wider flare. It’s a simple accessory, but the difference in reload consistency is real. If you’re looking for an easy, low-cost upgrade that actually improves function instead of just looks, this is worth adding to your build.

Rating: 4.5/5 — Would’ve given 5 stars with a slightly larger flare radius, but overall a great functional upgrade.

Good quality and easy to install, but had to return because Magpul PMAG Gen3 10 round and the Fab Defense 10 round magazines would not insert all the way and would not lock in place. Steel magazines work with no issues.

Priced well. Doesn't except plastic mags, pmags etc. If you only run steel mags you'll probably be fine. Have to pull trigger assembly pins to get this to clear as it slides on the lip of lowers magwell.
