This locking pin makes the Daniel Defense furniture featureless. You drive out the two pins and replace with this featureless pin. The pins are little stiff, take your time and tap. Make sure you pick your desire length before installing, you don want to have to do it twice.

The instructions simply say to replace the stock Daniel Defense pin with this replacement. It does not give any advice on which roll pins to remove or how to get them out. I was able to get the small roll pin out easily enough. The big roll pin was very difficult to remove and was impossible to replace after I had swapped the aftermarket lock pin from Aimsports for the original DD pin. Its as if the holes on the AimSports pin are in the wrong locations. I was able to lock the stock but I was not able to get the larger roll pin back in so now the adjustment lever just flops around. I have decided to get a few more of the Strike Industries Stock Stop and install it instead on this DD rifle. I have use the Strike Industries Stock Stop on a few other rifles, they are cheap, easy to install and nothing rattles after install. And, if I ever need or want to convert the stock back no normal adjusting mode, its very easy to remove the Stock Stop without any mods or changes to the original equipment.
