M1 carbine mount
The mount it's self fits great, but the screw is to long. The screw bottoms out before it tighten the mount to the carbine. I had to shim the screw with some lead solder around the threads to take up the extra space. I have not shot the carbine yet, so I don't know if the solder will hold tight. I think a shorter screw would fix the problem.
Carbine mount
The mount fit the gun fine, but either the mounting hole was drilled to deep or the metric bolt was to long. The bolt would tighten up, but not pull the mount tight to the gun. Rather then return the mount I ran a metric nut up the bolt to take up space and this worked fine. You also have to use lock tight on the bolt threads. So far it has been holding tight to the carbine.

First try it failed
The system that slides into the sight rail striped out on the first try. Otherwise the system fit great. I will have to get the piece made at a shop to make this item useful. The system itself will hopefully work great
