Thoughts on the scope
Over all its not a high end scope like Leupold or Zeiss but for the price seems to work just fine. I only shoot 300 or lower most of the time. I have had it for a few years and have used it hunting. The illumination is decently bright without being a eye strain.

Poorly etched reticle
I would give this a 4 stars except for the poorly etched reticle, you can clearly see a ghost ring all the way around the mil dot pattern that was etched in for the illuminated reticle Very unhappy with this. Other than that it would probably be a good scope for the price.
