The magnifier is great, a small con to it though is a very short eye relief. The nice thing about it, even though it requires no zeroing there are still means to make adjustments to the magnifier so that (in my case) the Aimpoint Micro T-1, red dot was exactly center of the magnifier.

I bought this to go with my AimPoint Pro. It adds a perfect field of view and the 3X magnification if perfect for shorter range targets. You get a great image as well as you can locate/ see your target and shots.

Purchased Aimpoint Pro optic then selected Samson flip to side mount along with Aimpoint.3 times magnifier.
Co-witness was no problem even though Samson mount elevated Aimpoint 3Xmagnifier slightly. Only slight adjustment required with magnifier to center red dot perfectly.
I like the Samson flip to side mount option because I did not have to cut rubber sheath of 3X magnifier. I realize it would not have affected performance - however, I just wanted to keep all intact and I think it is visually much more appealing.

While the image is not as bright as a $500 dollar Zeiss or Nikon full size scope, it is 1/3 the size and allows you to mount behind a CQB sight (works on eotechs, aimpoints and various reflex sights) and will flip out of the way fast if you buy a mount with the feature.
Pros: Its small, light, and magnifies 3 times for a 4-600 yard maxium engagment
Cons: Expensive, and the image is not as bright as a similiar priced hunting scope.

I rate this as high because I bought the Aimpoint red dot to go with the magnifyer. It was a little difficult lining up the iron sights with the red dot (my specs) then flipping the iron sights down to use the magnifyer on my AR 15. Once I did get everything lined up, it works like a charm. Great for those close in shots but good out to 200 yrds. For deer hunting, that is exactly what I needed.
Pros: Clear and Easy to use
Cons: Line up was somewhat complicated

Glass is much clearer than the competition. The only other 3X mag that comes close is the Eotech. Other than the Eotech, all of the other magnifiers are much less durable.
Pros: Top quality
Cons: A bit expensive
