Bought this after I had a previous disappointment with the Eotech 5X magnifier. Both experiences were disappointing. Eye relief is bad. I’m now convinced magnifiers for Aimpoint or Eotech are a waste of money. My LPVO has perfect on eye relief.

Phenomenal addition to my T2 optic. Magnification is precise and clear. The rubberized coating on Theo price offers protection from being rough handled.

I had been wanting to add a 3x magnifier to my modified Bushmaster AR-15 for quite some time. I already had an Aimpoint red dot sight, but wanted to enhance my ability to hit targets at longer ranges. So, after months of deliberation, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered this Aimpoint model - which was The unit itself is solid, made from high quality materials, and is easy to install on a tactical rail. I simply moved my red dot sight forward about 2 inches and seated the magnifier just in front of the flip up rear sight post. If installed properly, the 3x magnifier should be practically touching the red dot sight. I also added the Flip-to-side mount, which allows seamless transition between the red dot and the scope with just a flick of the finger. After going to an outdoor range and firing off 100 rounds, I was thoroughly impressed with the accuracy of the unit as well as the visual clarity of the scope. I was able to effectively hit targets at a much greater range and it interfaced beautifully with my Aimpoint red dot. Aside from adding weight, this unit is a phenomenal upgrade to any weapon platform. You get what you pay for!
