Way better than the blacked out one on the new T2s
New T2s and the Duty RDS both have a blacked out front cap that this replaces that will actually let you see through. This is way better than the stock as you don't have to flip it up when you're at the range. It's clear and has held up well after years of use with a nice tight fit.
Better fit than original
Fits the Duty rds and allows a clear sight instead of the ocluded front cap that comes with rds. Fits nice and tight.

Aimpoint Transparent Lens Cover for Aimpoint Micro T-2
I bought the Aimpoint Transparent Lens Cover for my Aimpoint Micro T-2. The Aimpoint Micro H-2 comes with this transparent lens cover, but the Aimpoint Micro T-2 comes with a black opaque lens cover. What's great about the transparent lens cover is that you can leave it down without flipping it up, and you can still see fine through the optic.

Great Protection!
This lens cover is the real deal. I got fantastic protection, albeit, at a high price and I don’t regret buying it at all. My optic was too expensive to not make sure I had one of these on my lens. Would buy again.

Clear front lens cap for Micro T2/H2
I love the clear front lens cap and in my opinion all law enforcement duty optics or scopes should come with this. Not only can you shoot with it closed regularly and have the same vision as if the cap wasn’t there, but when you do it protects the glass for an extended amount of time,lengthening the life of your optic. This also saves you time when you pair this with a clear rear lens cap and have to deploy your rifle in a pinch. I wish my T2 would’ve come with this standard but either way this was a solid purchase for me.

versatility
This ard gives one the ability to close completely, use the ard or take the ard out of view with simple flip. The device is securely held, replacing the stock one. The front is blank rather than clear. Overall better than the "screw-in" devices. It may be possible to replace the blank cover with the cover from the removed stock item. Good item, doesn't extend profile excessively.
