Most Helpful Positive Review Does what its supposed to do
Aimpoint reflex sights have a red/orange reflective coating on the objective lens that is reflective enough to check your hair with. If you, your target, and the sun are less than 45 degrees you're going to project an intense glare. This solves that. It does, however, require some shooter discipline. When you first look through the sight the mesh will be very pronounced and seem in the way. The second you focus on the red-dot (ie - proper sight-picture) it will disappear like one of those "magic" posters from the 90's. Cons: requires a small amount of sight-picture discipline

Fits perfectly and still sllows the flip caps to function. Easy no tools installation. Dont walk around with a giant mirror on top of your Rifle....A must to not be seen.

ARD Aimpoint Pro Highlights

I purchased this ARD for my Aimpoint Pro. The part fits perfectly and can be installed or removed without removing the lens cap. The lens cap can still be used with the ARD installed. The honeycomb mesh is barely noticeable when looking through the optic, assuming you're focused on the target and not the red dot. The usual red glow that is seen from the optic's business side is virtually gone and there is no more light reflecting off the glass surface. The red glow could be seen by someone the optic is pointed directly at, but in a real world scenario this probably doesn't matter. I would recommend this ARD for any Aimpoint pro user.

Amazing little device

The Aimpoint kill flash ARD was super easy to install... after I read the instructions on the packaging (LOL). It really prevents reflection. Without magnification, the honeycomb pattern does not impede visualization but it is clearly noticeable. However, when I flip the magnifier into position, the honeycomb pattern basically disappears, which is a very neat optical effect. As an added bonus, I have one more element protecting the lens of your red dot.

great addition to Aimpoint Pro

Works very well and extremely durable. I bought this to swap out my compact ACOG. It's half the cost and still performs the task required. If I were ask would I recommend this product my answer is a definite yes. A definite must for the Aimpoint Pro.

For some reason I had any issue installing on my Aimpoint PRO. Not sure if the thread on the ARD are messed up or if the thread on my PRO are messed up but ended up having to return. Looked cool sitting over top of it lol

Great item, it fits and works without issues. It's a bet pricey for such a simple item but you can see the quality. Overall very happy, and it truly completes the look of your aimpoint red dot optic. Make sure you select the right model kill flash for your sighting system.

No reflection

Works as advertised . With this in place nobody will get a glare of your optic. Safety first you know. I recommend this product for all who are using the Aimpoint PRO. I actually feel it should be provided with the optic. A must have!
