No surprise here, it’s an aimpoint. Not much else to say. It’s pricey because you get what you pay for! You get durability, reliability, crisp red dot. Looks cool. Small package. You can keep the dot on and forget about it and it will be on when you need it. Retains zero and handles heat on the ultimak railed has tube

I got this for the AK ultimak rail because Aimpoint is known for greater heat tolerance. Can’t speak for the long term, but with its 50K battery life, I can leave it in and forget about it for a few years. One thing to note is that any red dot will alter the view of the iron sights when cowitnessing so unless one wants to add a low quick detach mount, the irons need to be reseroed through the red dot.

I have ran H1 and T1’s on a few different AR’s over the past 3-4 years and they have been absolutely flawless. I have yet to change any of the batteries although I probably will soon just because I’m over anal like that. I run H1’s on my 300 blackout pistols HK mr556 and other customs. They have moved around a few times but one thing is for certain they have ran perfectly. I dropped one of my rifles a couple of Times and still.. holds zero and just functions flawlessly. I also really like the Kinetic mounts. I use 1/3 and I use absolute. Both function awesome, holds zero after removing and replacing as long as put back in exact same spot. very impressive! Also the removal and reinstall feature at first I thought was a gimmick but now all my Aimpoint micros dot on Kinetic mounts. The Rifles that are built for defense or abuse gets Aimpoint micros and a Kinetic period for me.

Solid product and great price. It is bomb-proof and as long as you don't need night vision the best value on the market. Great range of brightness settings and easy to adjust dials. Came with great mounting system too!

Great optic. mounted on my ak on ultimak rail gas tube mounted to the barrel. Aimpoints can can take that kind of heat and just abut any other kind of punishment you can dish out. Also Exelent battery life. You can keep it on if you want to and it will be good for a long time

Great optic. Always hesitant of paying this much for a red dot but it's worth every penny. You wouldn't believe how light the optic is until you take it out of the box. I was so impressed with it I have a second mounted on my DDAR.

The mount and sight went in without a problem and a very firm connection. The site works flawlessly and I am very happy with the results as well as the looks to my shotgun. I can also see my iron sights thru the Aimpoint H-1should there be a problem.

I mounted this on my AR10 to use for hog hunting. The product works great. Easy to zero and holds true to the brand name. I really like the micro design it keeps the weight and bulkyness to a minimum.

This is a great red dot. It is light weight and a nice size. The dot is crisper and the glass is nicer than the PRO. The only thing I wish Aimpoint would do is make some after-market flip up lens covers for it.
