If you want the best red dot get an Aimpoint. Say what you will but they are battle proven, simple, smart and just plain works and works all the time. Battery life and field of vines is what sets it a part and that's a big deal. I've tried them all and this is the best. Yes they are expensive for a non-magnification optic but good things come with a price. if you actually use your rifle or pistol get one you won't be sorry. If you like to look at your gun and not really use it other than to bring it out of the safe to show it to a friend then save your money.
