Most Helpful Positive Review Aimpoint Twist Mount Ring
I got this to mount my 3X magnifier and Aimpoint T-2. The materials and construction seem to be top notch. The base is rock solid and the top swivels on and off easily with the push of a lever. One caveat that I did not see listed. This mount and base as it comes is not high enough if you have a high mount on your AR. If you have a high optic mount then you will have to get the Aimpoint AR15 Spacer - QRP and TwistMount Ring (Code: AI-IA-12227). So that's about another $30.

Great mount

I enjoy this mount because I can snap it on when I need to make a longer shot and then it’s quickly and easily removed for closer CQB work. I found that you can both apply and remove your magnifier with one hand while not having to move your weapon out of you “work space”. Exactly what I was looking for.

  • Lightweight
  • Easy to operate
Cons:
  • Depending on your optics, you might need a spacer. I did

Twist Mount

The twist mount works great with my Aimpoint 3x magnifier. I prefer it to the mounts that flip to the side because you are able to remove the added weight when not needed.
Pros: ease of removal
