If you already own an AimSHOT Model LS8100, it likely came with only the fixed on/off tailcap switch.
That's okay, providing you don't mind manipulating it under circumstances which may be less than ideal. It's also likely you don't need/want something that's either fully on (beam/dot always visible) or off (you can't use it to identify where your shot will likely hit). This remotely mounted/operated momentary on/off switch provides better function in such instances, solveing the matter quite nicely.
If you don't already have one, I would highly recommend you reconsider. The price is quite reasonable, and you get to keep your original fixed position tailcap switch!
