Most Helpful Positive Review Hunter and sport shooter
Great compact scope. Almost half the length of other 3x9x40 scopes . Mounts easy on top rail of AR format rifle or any rifle with top rail. Leaves enough room on the top rail to put an off set flashlight and laser. Price is right.
Most Helpful Negative Review Do not buy
I bought this scope months ago. Mounted it. It was a nice clear scope. Went to sight it in today. First shot from ar 15 and scope broke. Very disappointed. Hardly no recoil from an ar I couldn't imagine putting this on a heavier recoil rifle.

Excellant choice for an inexpensive scope

For the price, it delivers what it advertises, the optics are clear, the P4 reticle gives some good and clear hold over options. It was easy to mount with the provided rings on an AR platform and zeroed up easily.The provided rings are pretty basic, but seem to be solid, if there was one upgrade I would recommend it would be a higher quality one piece mount, mainly personal preference. The 1/4 MOA adjustments have protective caps and the clicks are faint but present. The power, focus, and objective lens adjustments function perfectly. When I ordered, the scope was not in stock, but shipped within the predicted restock date. Service from Optics Planet was ut to standard.

AIM 3-9X40 Adjustable scope

I was looking for an inexpensive quality scope that didnt take batteries and found it in this one. The optics are crystal clear. Its mounted on my AR and holds zero perfectly. I will buy an AIM scope for my Henry .22 right here at OPTIC PLANET.
