The AIM Sports AR15 Delta Ring Wrench Removal Tool worked fine. Some reviews said it wasn't made of metal, but I used a strong magnet to check, and there is some metal under the thick protective coating. I tried unsuccessfully to get the hand guards off without a tool, using techniques from youtube, and nothing worked until I purchased this tool. Totally worth the money, and I could have saved a lot of frustration if I'd have just bought this in the first place.
